There is a great discussion thread going ot at Last Free Voice, attached to the arcticle, “The Austrian/Monetarist split as a proxy for the rift within the LP.”

The metaphor of the differing ideas on money translating to the radical/reform division within the Libertarian party is rather thin, but the discussion about fiat money, the gold standard, and competing currencies is rather interesting.

Normally this stuff bores me to tears.
