There was a sorta/kinda credentials challenge this afternoon.
Posted on May 24th, 2008 by Shawn L.
An objection was raised over the addition of delegates, by Arthur Torry of Massachusetts. He and a few others, out of fear of some campaigns trying to bring in more of their supporters as delegates.
Of course, so long as they are following all appropriate rules, Torry’s objection means that basically he objects to adding new delegates on the grounds that he fears that the may not vote for the candidate of his choice.
None the less, the additional delegates passed easily.
Jacqueline Passey’s fears of a big credentials fight haven’t come true. I expect Arthur to bring this up again tomorrow, to the same result.
