If what I was hearing yesterday is true, there’s been quite a bit of drama with the Platform Committee. Nothing I’m comfortable repeating here, but it also sounds like it will lead to some serious foolishness during the Platform Committee report portion of the convention.

A minority report that has been put together by some of the Platform Comm. members (including one who may have quit over this kerfuffle, again just a rumor) is at the root of all this.

Given how little importance I put in the party platform, I have a strategy with dealing with all this: Duck and Cover.

It’s going to potentially be the nastiest part of the convention with the least importance.
