At Editor & Publisher: Many Won’t Run Next Two ‘Opus’ Strips With Sex Joke, Islam Reference

The sex joke is that Steve Dallas won’t be getting any, because his girlfriend is trying to become an islamist, and therefore will be refraining from pre-marital sex.

What’s there to be offended about?

I’ll single out the Washington Post in particular tarring and feathering. The mighty paper that once prided itself for being on Nixon’s fabled enemies list, is reduced to this. Is such fearful censorship affecting the news coverage as well?

Such behavior will only encourage further terrorism and violence, because it shows that it works.
