It costs HOW MUCH???

Also from the same year old issue of Network World comes a “Cool Tools” feature that reviews a notebook computer that’s unique.
It’s essentially a WindowsCE PDA on steroids. The screen is enlarged and a keyboard is added to essentially become a mini-laptop.
The problem is in it’s price tag. $1500.
The concept of a PDA upgraded is physical size and maybe a bit in technological ability to be a rival to notebook computers is a good one. But only if the resulting product is economical.
It could be said that this unit is VERY light compared to notebooks. But todays modern laptops come in some very small and light forms that are MUCH cheaper than $1500, and are far more useful as full computers, not just jumped up PDA’s.
Look at the smaller laptops out there. If you can’t find the strength to carry one of them around, it’s time you saw a doctor.
The bizarre part of this is that this product got 4 and a half stars out of 5!!! I really don’t trust this reviewer’s judgement to the point of wondering if he was paid for a positve review.
