Even though This article is already linked to by Instapundit, I just had to make sure it gets noticed.



It’s about a liberal woman who has taken to the streets of New York… To have polite discussion about the future of the country with conservatives.



Back in the 60’s protest was the order of the day because those protesting couldn’t find anyone in government or the media to champion their cause. Hence the saying, “the revolution won’t be televised.” Shouting in the streets was all that was left to them.



Far too much of today’s protesting is foolish and stupid. With so many venues available for the individual to express themselves. Shouting in the streets is merely an act of nostalgia. Today’s protesters they sway no opinions. They only piss people off.



The First Amendment can be used in far more sophisticated and productive ways other than making making a spectacle.



So I like what Ariana Jacob has done. It’s a “protest” against the protesters, and sets an example for others. Bravo.
