I then saw the post below it, complaining about the quality of play in women’s basketball.

Women’s basketball is painful to watch. I would rather watch paint dry than a bunch of ugly jump shots and underhand layups. This is not to say that all women’s sports are dull - women’s tennis can be quite exciting because the rallies are longer than in the men’s game. But the time has come to complement baseball with international soccer’s annual summer tournaments in our summer sports canon - the WNBA is abysmal.
